February is right around the corner. And so I’m very excited to share this month’s Free Bullet Journal Printables with YOU! I hope you are still sticking to your New Year’s Resolution(s) and are working hard to make your dreams come true. These printables are a great way to plan out your goals and hold yourself accountable. So use them to your advantage and get things done!

Hello February 2017
Since I want your planning session to be as much fun as it is work, I designed a new coloring page for you. It is up to you, of course, if you actually color it in and get your creative juices flowing. Or if you just use it as a way to mark the start of a new month in your Bullet Journal. I personally really like line art so most of the time it stays at it is in my BuJo!

Habit Tracker
Since the beginning of each New Year motivates a lot of us to focus on new goals and personal growth. A habit tracker is a great tool to make sure you stick to your Resolutions. It’s easy to set up and it only takes a couple minutes to track your habits each day. To set yourself up for success I recommend only tracking up to five habits in the beginning. Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to change everything at once.
When I decided to live a more healthy lifestyle last October I started by focussing only on my eating habits for two weeks. Then I started to go for a 30-minute walk twice a week. After I felt comfortable with that I added one workout session and so on. Take it one step at a time! We all have busy lives and if we go from 0 to 120 instantly there is no way for us to stick to it in the long run.

Monthly Log
The monthly log is awesome if you want to review your progress and figure out where you spend your time. The idea is to document your daily activities with keywords, so you can easily see what you did each day of the past month. That way you see exactly if you are focussing the majority of your time on the things that are most important to you or not. So before setting up your new month take some time to evaluate your past month, and apply the lessons learned in the next one.

Tasks & Goals
You know your big goals for the year? But you are unsure how to get there? This simple spread can help you with it. Let’s say you want to have lost 5kg by July, 1st. Loosing 0.5kg every two weeks is considered healthy but depending on your start weight this might vary.
The best way to start is to brainstorm ways to get there (best based on research). So list all the small changes you can make to your eating habits as well as your fitness routine to become healthier and therefore leaner. Now break your list down into small actionable steps.

I personally think starting with your eating habits is the best choice since you need the right fuel for your body to have enough energy to get through your exercise plan. And since you want your new habits to stick, start off slow and make sure you are comfortable with your changes before implementing the next ones.
So for February your goals might be:
-
Loosing 1kg by February 28th
-
Eating three to five meals a day
- Making sure I eat a balanced diet of grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy, protein,
and healthy fats each day
The tasks which will help you get there might be:
-
Planning my meals for the coming week on Sundays
-
Grocery Shopping for the whole week on Mondays
-
Prepping Meals for the next day every night
-
And so on
The clearer your goals are and the smaller your tasks are the easier it will be to crush your goals! So really think it through, break your tasks down into small and easy-to-take-action-on-chunks and make 2017 your year!
Weekly Spreads
Since you already planned out your monthly goals and tasks now it’s time to make sure you know what to do each week/day. Also again ‘Set yourself up for success!’. So only put tasks in the time-specific tasks list on the right if they really have a deadline. If you have a Yoga session with a trainer on Wednesday afternoon, of course, it belongs on the right. If your plan is to work out once a week at home put it on the left. Because it doesn’t matter on which day you do it. The only thing that matters is that you do it this week!

February Memories
This spread is the most fun and makes sure you celebrate your successes. It’s meant to document your accomplishments as well as special and memorable events of the month. If you do it by doodling, lettering, adding photos or scrapbooking is up to you. But by taking the time and documenting those special moments you can really recognize them for what they are.

Let’s say in the beginning you thought about how happy you would be if you lost 1 kg and kept it off. Now that you reached that goal you suddenly want to have lost 3 kgs. We all tend to instantly grave the next best thing as soon as we have accomplished something. And so we forget to be proud of ourselves and celebrate our successes. If we do that, we easily get frustrated and give up. Don’t do this to yourself! Find a way to celebrate each victory, no matter how small it might be. And also be thankful for wonderful moments spent with family and friends. They are what matter most in the world and we should never forget that!
