Find the perfect fit for your planner needs
If you have been wondering if you should get either the Journaltastisch Planner or the Bullettastisch Printable Bundle or even both, you have come to the right place. This post explains in detail all the pros and cons of both products so that you can make the best decision for your planner setup!
Before we go into the details about what sets these two products apart here a quick overview of each product itself. So that the ones of you, who just stumbled upon my blog, also understand what they are all about.
The Journaltastisch Planner
The Journaltastisch Planner is the perfect starter kit for everyone who wants to create their own personal planner but doesn’t know how to or feels like they don’t have the time for it.
Again and again, I got e-mails from readers who wanted to create their own planner from scratch but just felt totally overwhelmed.
- All the beautiful planner layouts they see online and thinking they will never be good enough to create something similar on their own.
- The huge amount of variation in layouts and having no clue, where to start and what the perfect setup is for them.
- Getting over the initial hump of filling the very first page in their new shiny planner.
- Finding the time to actually design their own planner.
- [Enter your own doubts here.]
The more of these e-mails I got the more I wanted to help. Which is why I sat down to not only create a huge printable set, which is perfect for everyone starting out. But which also comes with lots of guidance on how to get started.
This guidance comes in the form of
- A detailed guide on how to print, cut and set up your planner both for
- and notebooks.
- Access to an exclusive group of like-minded planner enthusiasts.
- A detailed illustrated guide with lots of tips and inspirational images on how to use all printables included.
Bullettastisch Printable Bundle
I created the Bullettastisch Printable Bundle with advanced planner enthusiasts in mind. Because as soon as you have understood the basic principles of planner creation and have used the system for a few months, you might want more.
Simply put – more variety.
To make sure everyone who is ready to take their planner to the next level, but still worries about time constraints or not being artistic enough doesn’t get bored. I created the Bullettastisch Printable Bundle.
It will bring versatility, variety, and beauty to your personal planner. It also will include beautiful layouts to help you with
- goal setting,
- project planning,
- meal planning,
- mood tracking,
- sleep tracking,
- expense tracking,
- savings tracking,
- and journaling.
Journaltastisch Planner vs Bullettastisch Printable Bundle
What is the difference?
Now that I have introduced both products, there are still some questions left open, which I will try to answer to the best of my ability right here.
|Journaltastisch Planner||Bullettastisch Printable Bundle|
US Half Letter
US Half Letter
|Printing & Cutting Guide||Yes||No|
|How-To with Tips & Inspiration||Yes||No|
|Does it include alternative layouts?||No||Yes|
The main difference between both products is most certainly that the Journaltastisch Planner is dated, while the Bullettastisch Printables are not.
A dated planner like the Journaltastisch Planner is less work. You can print it and use it right away. An undated planner like the Bullettastisch Printable Bundle, while being more work allows you to re-use the same printables all year round, year after year. Since you can fill it with the year, month and day of your choosing.
While does the Journaltastisch Planner include so much more?
Since the Journaltastisch Planner is meant to be your starting off point for your personal planner adventure it includes everything a beginner could need. Tons of printables. A detailed guide on printing and cutting. A community of like-minded planner enthusiasts. As well as an illustrated guide on how to use all printables included.
Except maybe for the community an advanced planner doesn’t need any of that. He or she already knows how to set up a planner and how to use each layout. Which is why all the extras would just be a waste of your time. And since I believe planners are meant to keep you focused and organized the last thing I want to do is waste your time.
When should I get both?
It depends on what you want to do with your planner. If you already feel like the day doesn’t have enough hours, I would either only get the Journaltastisch Planner or get both BUT use the Journaltastisch Planner on its own for a few months first before introducing the Bullettastisch Printables to the mix. If you are a planner pro but love many of the designs included in both bundles feel free to get them both and mix and match. The sizes are the exact same, so they fit together perfectly.
In my mind, a complete beginner would start out with the Journaltastisch Planner and advance to the Bullettastisch Printable Bundle as soon as he or she feels totally confident about their setup and how they use their planner on a day to day basis. That way they can beautify their planner over time, experiment with different layouts and enjoy the journey of planner creation without getting overwhelmed.
Which is what it is all about for me!
